Lately I've been fixated on mountain biking. I ride a bicycle everywhere (I don't own a car) but prefer off-road riding to riding the streets. STOLEN BICYCLE LISTING

A friend recently had his bicycle stolen. This got me to thinking what I would do if my bike got stolen. I don't own a car, and I'd have a real hard time getting to work! Among other things! It also prompted me to post a page of stolen bikes! If you have had your bicycle stolen and would like me to post a notice here, let me know and send as many details as you can, especially serial numbers, descriptions, colors, and when and where it was stolen. The chances of recovering stolen bicycles are very small, but maybe if we can increase folks awareness we can recover a few more. If this recovers even one bike I'd be very happy.

Also, There are other stolen bike lists on the web. The ones I'm aware of are linked on the Stolen Bike Listing. If your bike has been stolen by all means get it listed at all the places you can. And make copies of the lists and give those lists to your local law enforcement agencies.
