STOLEN BICYCLE LISTING
If you have had a bicycle stolen and would like it listed on this page simply email me with the information and I'll post it here. Most important are the make, model, and serial number. Also important is the date and time stolen. Any further description is helpful, such as the parts group on the bike and any unique identifying characteristics. I'm told the high-end bikes are typically parted out as soon as they are stolen, but any information may be useful.

Below are links to other stolen bicycle registries, get the bike listed on as many as you can find. While recovering a stolen bike is very rare (ask your local police how many they recover and how many are reported), anything to increase the chances is worth the effort. Also, printing the listing from here and other sites and turning them over to your local police agency may help, I have no idea how a bike stolen in San Francisco would ever be identified in Los Angeles. Maybe that is up to us.

If you request to have a bicycle listed here I will need some contact information. If I am contacted about a bike listed here I will need to be able to contact you about it. Probably email is sufficient. I will not post any of that contact info unless specifically requested to do so, although if I am contacted by a police agency I will provide them with the information so they may contact you (unless you ask that I not do that, but why would you?).
