(4 Practice Questions)

During your GRE Quantitative Ability section, 3 or 4 (out of 28) questions will involve what the testing service calls "data analysis" (computing and approximating numerical values based on charts, graphs, and tables). These questions often come in pairs, both questions based on the same graphical data. The test-makers usually use the Problem Solving format for data-analysis questions.

Before attempting the practice questions here, be sure you've read the following:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRACTICE QUESTIONS:

  1. Review the test directions (below).

  2. Go to the first practice question ("Begin Practice"). Select an answer choice by clicking on a button, then click on "Answer/Analysis" (or go directly to the next question). Use your browser's BACK button to review your responses. This is not a timed test.

  3. To gauge your performance, tally up your correct responses. After completing all four Quantitative Ability practice sets, check your grand total against the Quantitative Ability score-conversion table.
