You'll find the current pool of GMAT essay topics at the official GMAC Web site (www.mba.com). Go to the "Prepare for the GMAT" area of the site, and follow the "AWA Topics" link. The file containing the topics is in PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format. From the current pool, one Issue topic and one Argument topic will appear on your GMAT test.

NOTE: The test makers may change a small number of the essay topics from time to time. The current edition of GMAT CAT—Answers to the Real Essay Questions contains model essays for most, but not all, topics of each type. Also, a few of the essays in the book may cover topics that you won't find in the current pool of official topics.
