Mountain Corporation has developed and marketed financial software
since 1983 and in the 1980's and 1990's had several thousand satisfied users
worldwide. In the early 1990's, using our financial software expertise, we developed the proprietary SmartRe$erve™ software to facilitate the task of reserve analysis for community associations. When we do reserve studies for our clients, the SmartRe$erve™ software produces future cash flow projections and has the intelligence to determine what level of reserve funding is needed to adequately fund future capital replacement expenses. This technique is known as "cash flow optimization." Not only do community associations use our reserve studies as a financial planning tool, but we've been asked to do reserve studies for the following types of organizations.
The common denominator in these seemingly dissimilar organizations is that they all have capital assets (roofs, painting, paving, etc) to maintain and a reserve study is the ideal way to analyze their finances. Some
of our employees have been active association board members and are quite

by the Community Associations Institute (CAI). He holds RS
Designation #100, meaning he is the 100th Reserve Specialist in the U.S.
to receive this designation. He has been doing reserve studies since 1991 for
hundreds of associations and has published numerous reserve study articles for Common
Ground Magazine and other condominium publications. Any reserve study
work done by Stone Mountain Corporation employees is done under his responsible
charge.
