Experience

Mr. Hvolbøll’s practice emphasizes zoning and land use matters as well public agency law. He appears before local zoning boards, homeowners' associations, planning commissions, architectural committees, city councils and the board of supervisors. He has handled dozens of environmental matters. Among his clients are farmers, ranchers, schools, homeowners, banks, and other institutions. Mr. Hvolbøll has represented numerous applicants for major conditional use permits in controversial matters.
Mr. Hvolbøll also serves as general counsel to the Montecito Fire Protection District.
