Our newest member of the family is Smokey, a svelte Russian Blue-ish.
We all live together at the base of a canyon in the foothills in a house built after the big fire in 1990. Take a Peek. (contains Java) We love our house and our neighborhood.
Pat works at UCSB these days, and Chuck is a computer nerd. We enjoy travelling every once in a while. Here's what we've been up to.
We both love Astronomy.
Chuck's father served in the United States Marine Corps for almost forty years. Some fairly momentous things happened in the world during that time. Take a look through his photo album from his China Marine days.
Pat's uncle Charles served as a B-17 bombardier with the 8th Air Force during WWII. His bomber was severely damaged during a raid on Munich in July of 1944, and forced to land in Switzerland. Here, in his own words, is the story of his few months as an Internee before escaping. (The images are second-generation photocopies.)
Since we put Uncle Charles' story on the web, we have heard from people all over the world, including some of his fellow crewmembers. Here are some links to other B-17 Internee and World War 2 stories.
