Welcome to the first issue of Felshtiner Landsleit, the newsletter of the Felshtin Society. The goal of this newsletter is three-fold: to update descendants of Felshtiners on the activities of the Society; to share stories, facts, and anecdotes about Felshtin and Felshtiners not included in the yizkor book; and to provide a central resource for researchers and descendants of Felshtiners. If you're a typical web surfer, you'll probably read the material in random order. However, in case you wish to read the material in sequence, use the next button on the bottom of each page. There are many interesting stories of Felshtin and Felshtiners that should be shared with a wider audience. Please search your attic and basements for family photographs, letters, manuscripts, and other items of historical interest and share them with us. (See our wish list for more details.)
