Teacher's Question of the Week

Q: What are your instructional preferences? How would you characterize your style of teaching?

A: Take the self-assessment of instructional preferences to rate which methods you most often use. This self-assessment form was designed by The Center for Research on Learning of the University of Kansas. You can use this to help match students with your style, and let students know what to expect when taking your class.

Click here to read more about the purpose of the form, and to take the self-assessment. You may wish to print it out to record your answers for future use. Classroom time, evaluating and homework are the three main areas covered on the instructional preferences checklist.
