Patty DeDominic, author of the New World of Work, is a well-known and admired entrepreneur who has reached the pinnacle of professional success--a respected philanthropist and an international advocate for women. In 1979 she founded CT Engineering and PDQ Personnel Services, Inc. that grew into a powerhouse staffing agency. In 2006, she sold her businesses to a privately held firm that is now over one billion dollars in annual sales nationally and one of the nation's largest human resources/staffing firms.

Patty was named Chief Executive Officer of the Year in 2006 by the LA Business Journal and has received over twenty distinguished awards. She is president emeritus of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and has served on numerous boards, including the California Chamber of Commerce and the prestigious Jane Goodall Institute. A sought after speaker on women's issues around the world, Ms. DeDominic has created and continues to build and promote Women's Festivals in celebration of International Women's Day.

Patty's passion for supporting non-profit groups that are dedicated to the empowerment of women inspired her and Maureen Ford to donate the profits from the sales of Life Moments for Women to raise $1,000,000 for the Women's Foundation of California and its grantees.
