About the Author of A Teen's Guide to Career Success: How to Get and Keep a Job
After spending 30 years working as an executive in a Fortune 500 company and as an owner of a successful retail chain, Jim Comiskey turned his energy and expertise toward the educational arena. Realizing the future of our country depended on an educated and motivated workforce, from 1992 to 2001 Jim refocused his efforts to the educational arena by becoming a partner and President of Academic Innovations. While there he brought to the educational community his techniques and strategies that have proven extremely effective in the business environment.
Author of two successful business management books, he was a management consultant for such companies as Apple Computer, Pac Bell and Intuit. During his retail career he hired and trained hundreds of employees, many of them recent high school graduates.
