The Perkulators are the Forever Knight faction devoted to Detective Tracy
Vetter, Nick's partner on the third season of the show. Why "Perkulators"?
Well for one thing because she's just so perky, but more importantly because
she (and we) are so devoted to coffee.
How do you know if you're a Perk? Take this simple test to find out:
Signs you may be a Perk:
If your idea of a vacation is to poke around condemned buildings in search
of mysterious plane crash victims, or going undercover at possibly shady
escort services.
If the men you are attracted to turn out to be serial killers (or otherwise
crazy).
If you seem to spontaneously (and irritatingly) inspire those around you
to protect you. (Unless they happen to be one of the crazy people.)
If coffee comprises all four of your food groups.
If you alphabetize your refrigerator (bookshelves, video tapes, music collection
etc.)
If your family and friends are perpetually wondering what a "nice person
like you is doing in a job like that" (or similar comments).
If you have ever been criticized for being "too cheerful" (but can't understand
how such a thing as "too cheerful" is even possible).
If you are a faithful follower of the Girl Scout/Guide motto: "Be Prepared"--for
flood, fire, famine, armed perps, vampires who may be stalking material
witnesses...
If you're really more of a day person--even when you spend more time awake
at night.
If you believe that even if curiosity kills the cat, the cat has eight
other lives and is probably a vampire anyway.
You know the answer's right in front of you--you just can't see
it. :)
