A Bit About Me...

Since graduating from UC Berkeley in May of 1996, I've been working and taking some Ed/Psych courses at California Lutheran University. My current plans include going to Grad School (assuming I get in this fall), getting my doctorate, and becoming one of the many over-educated, virtually unemployable literature scholars out there.

I used to sing with the UC Chorale Ensembles (I'd still be singing in a group, but I don't have the time anymore).

I watch far too much television, including Forever Knight, Gargoyles, Due South, Buffy-The Vampire Slayer, Star Trek, and the occasional Highlander and X-Files episode.

When not watching too much television, I'm into Medieval Arthurian Literature (because of the way it combines my favorite subjects of French and Celtic myth/legend), and hoping to study it in the aforementioned grad school.

Some of my favorite Medieval Literature and History Links:

I speak a little French and even less Welsh (yes, Welsh), and I read Fantasy books (or I would if I had the time--that old time thing again). I'm a fan of some of the better known authors like David Eddings, Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, and Andre Norton as well as some that most people have never heard of ("Who is that?!?") like Christopher Stasheff, and Teresa Edgerton. And yes, like most readers of Fantasy and Science Fiction, I write (and not just fanfic).

That's all I have to report for now, but I'll keep you posted if anything changes.
