These our the ranks of our Dojo. Each Dojo usually has there own system of ranking, you should consult your particular Dojo about theirs.

Belts are awarded after each test. Tests are held in the months of May, August, December. There is no set pattern in which you receive these ranks (depending on your skill you can "jump" ranks). There are 7 different colored belts (belts other than white) and in each color there are striped belts that are different then the solid colors. Here is a chart to help you out. The chart goes in ascending order.
