Thanks to the abuses of the past year or so, and my inattention to it, I am closing RoryBoard - maybe to never re-open. I have recieved enough email from friends I respect who have persuaded me to finally shut it down. I had let it go for some time in the hope that the abuses would stop, but they have not. I am not one to censure your freedom of speech so I will simply remove the forum. I have paid beyond my normal fees to keep this board open as there has been an excess of traffic to it, but I will no longer pay for the abuses that have been ongoing. And that says nothing of what I have paid within the community of folks whose opinion I respect and care about, I hope they will forgive me for having the misguided faith that the abuses would cease.

Thank you to those of you that contributed constructively to the forum. I appreciate your concerns and I apologize for having waited so long to act on them. I hope you will forgive that I acted so slowly.

Those of you that are the reason for the closure, go find another board to abuse and don't bother emailing me about it, I will simply delete your message unread. Thank you for making a wonderful idea very hurtful and painful to many.
