The 8 Year Old Stern Fan

November 26, 1997 - Reports published this morning tell of an 8 year old boy who wrote Stern a letter about how the child ripped open his testicle while playing on a swing set when he was 6.

At 7:00 AM (PST) this morning, the boy called the Stern show and was interviewed by Howard Stern. The interview was broadcast to more than 25 million listeners in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Stern said be didn't realize the boy was 8 until he talked to him on the phone this morning.

WESTCOTT COMMENTS: Callers to The Howard Stern Show are screened very carefully. Unless Stern knows EXACTLY the nature of the call, you do not get through.

Hmmm, Stern says Stern said he didn't know the boy was 8. Even after a letter to Stern and careful screening on the telephone before the call was taken on-air, Stern still didn't know the boy was 8? Is that what Stern and CBS want us to believe?

An 8 year old sounds like an eight year old but, giving the benefit of the doubt to Stern, maybe he did not know the child was only 8. But, one thing's for sure, he sure as hell knew the child was under age! This is just another example of Howard Stern and CBS targeting our children. How long are you going to let them do it, America?

Here's More Proof That Stern Targets Our Children

(March 26, 1997) - An 11 year old called in to tell Stern a story about lighting his mother's fart with a match. On New Years Eve the kid and his mother decided to try and light her fart. The boy stood behind his mother with the flame while his mother pulled down her pants and underwear. The mother bends over and proceeds to pass wind. The fart catches fire, burns the child's hand and then catches the mother's pubic hair on fire. The boy said his mother was running around the house swatting at the burning pubic hair.

(April 23, 1997) - A 14 year old avid Howard Stern listener was suspended from school for 3 days after the kid was overheard talking to his friend about one of the E! show episodes (brought to you by Disney) where Stern sniffed a couple of Playboy Playmates to see if they were on their menstrual cycle.

(August 14, 1997) - A 13 year old girl named Michelle called in this morning to tell Stern how much she loves him. She said that she has hundreds of pictures of him on her wall and that she wants him sexually. Michelle's mother picked up the phone and Michelle yelled at her to get off...she did. Then a few minutes later Michelle's mother came back on and said she was going to kill her because she heard her on the radio. Michelle yelled at her once again and the mother got off the phone again. Michelle started demanding that her mother bring her to New York to come on the show. Stern decided that he'd like to have her come.

(August 1, 1997) - I received the following email from a 13-year old Sternie. It is reprinted exactly as I received it. The letter speaks for itself and, as a courtesy, I have not posted the name of this person. Just imagine what this kid is going to grow up to be. - Westcott

"You make me sick. It is people like you that make the world the terrible place it is today. Why don't you get a hobby instead of critizing people who want to fufill their dream. I'm 13, I listen to show, how old are you, 62? Why don't you get a hobby, you're wasting valuable web space just trying to stop people from listening to a radio show. If you haven't noticed when someone says something like "This is bad, don't ever listen/watch/touch it." It just makes people listen/watch/touch it more (think about why Marilyn Manson is so big). Everyone hates you and YOU should be ashamed of yourself (not us). And you're causing a rucus, you're probably one of those Christian freaks anyway. Well, you haven't done anything to me except made me listen to Howard Stern even more."
