LEARNING DISABILITIES TESTING

For SBCC students who are 18 or older, or have a high school diploma.

 

Have you always struggled with reading, math or writing?

Do you study hard without getting the results you expect?

Do you want to discover your learning strengths and weaknesses?

 

We may have solutions for your learning challenges.

 

STEP 1: ORIENTATION (INTAKE INTERVIEW)

Drop in and meet with a Learning Disabilities Specialist.

You don't need an appointment.

Summer Semester

Wed., 9:30 a.m. - SS 272

Thurs., 1:00 p.m. - SS 272

Fall and Spring Semesters

Tu., 8:00 a.m. - SS 272

Wed., 8:00 a.m. - SS 272

Thurs., 8:00 a.m. - SS 272

Come in during any of the times listed above.

Plan for an hour.

Please bring copies of the most recent disability testing reports (include scores).

 

STEP 2: GROUP TESTING

Plan for a three hour appointment.

 

STEP 3: INDIVIDUAL TESTING

Plan for a four hour individual appointment.

 

STEP 4: RESULTS

We will discuss your test results and learning profile in a one hour appointment.

 

STEP 5: FOLLOW-UP

A DSPS counselor will assist you with setting up services.
